Preparing a world of possibilities
Growing independence
As children become young adults, we support a wider journey of learning, independence and discovery.

Junior Secondary marks an important transition. Students encounter a wider range of subjects, increased expectations and new opportunities to become more organised and independent.
Our school material identifies preparation for Junior NECO and Junior WAEC alongside debate, competitions and creative expression. We connect academic preparation with the confidence to participate, collaborate and represent the school.
These years are also a time of self discovery. Students benefit from clear expectations, encouragement and opportunities to recognise both their strengths and the areas they need to develop.

Regular attendance, preparation, careful note taking, completing assignments and asking for help support a more independent approach to learning.
Preparation for junior examinations builds on classroom understanding, practice and feedback. The school office can confirm applicable examination arrangements.
Debate, literary interests, performing arts and school activities create opportunities to participate, discover interests and build confidence beyond written work.
Build a consistent routine for sleep, school preparation and time to talk about the day. Encourage effort and curiosity as well as achievement, and share changes or concerns with the school early.
Before enrolment, ask about the class your child would join, current learning priorities, daily routines, uniforms, learning materials and any support they may need. Our admissions team will help you identify the right questions for the academic team.
Meet our community, explore our school and talk through the next steps for your child.
