The first discoveries
A warm welcome to school life, where play, friendship and guided exploration help young children feel secure and excited to learn.

For a young child, starting school is a significant new chapter. Our Nursery introduction centres on belonging: familiar routines, patient encouragement and opportunities to explore, express and interact with others.
We value the small moments that build confidence joining a song, sharing a toy, recognising a sound, asking a question or completing a task independently. Learning begins with interest and grows through practice.
Parents know their children best. When enquiring, tell us about your child’s interests, routines and any needs that may help us understand their transition into school.
Stories, songs, conversations and simple questions help children discover words and develop the confidence to communicate their needs and ideas.
Counting, sorting, matching and recognising patterns introduce mathematical thinking through familiar objects and everyday experiences.
Drawing, colour, rhythm, movement and imaginative play give children different ways to express themselves and experiment with ideas.
Learning to take turns, listen, tidy up and care for belongings supports confidence, cooperation and a growing sense of responsibility.
Build a consistent routine for sleep, school preparation and time to talk about the day. Encourage effort and curiosity as well as achievement, and share changes or concerns with the school early.
Before enrolment, ask about the class your child would join, current learning priorities, daily routines, uniforms, learning materials and any support they may need. Our admissions team will help you identify the right questions for the academic team.
Meet our community, explore our school and talk through the next steps for your child.
